Lisle is the perfect destination for conventions, trade shows, business meetings or for anyone looking to enjoy our many attractions. Those of us lucky enough to live in Lisle already know this, but the trick is getting that message to the decision-makers who are looking for a location for their event — or for anyone searching for a good place to spend a day trip or weekend. We understand how to target those decision-makers.
HOW DO WE GET OUR MESSAGE TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE?
The Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCVB) takes a multi-faceted approach. Our only focus is promoting Lisle, and we do it in a number of different ways, including attending trade shows, working with our local hotels, partnering with other Convention and Visitors Bureaus(CVBs) when it makes sense to do so, promoting Lisle via social media, targeting potential visitors via select advertising and distributing our Visitors Guide.

HOW DOES THE LCVB WORK WITH LOCAL HOTELS?
The LCVB, the Village of Lisle and our local hotels all win when a large event decides to come to Lisle, so we collaborate to make that happen.
OUR SALES PROCESS
• We pursue business opportunities for hotels, trade shows, internet marketing, sales missions, and membership partners.
• This generates revenue to hotels, local venues, and attractions.
• The village collects room night tax dollars.
• Tax revenue equals significant revenue to Lisle.
WHEN DOES THE LCVB PARTNER WITH OTHER AREA CVBS?
Everyone benefits when we attract a larger convention! When large conventions are secured for the area and involve multiple local communities, it makes sense to partner with other area convention and visitors bureaus. We recently formed the Chicago West Sports Group, a sports alliance with both the Naperville and Aurora Convention & Visitors Bureaus. Now, with a consolidated inventory of sports facilities, the goal is to bring larger sporting events to the area to help fill Lisle hotels rooms.

In the 2017 calendar year, the LCVB produced $5.174 million in total economic impact for Lisle!
