DMAI Destination Marketing Association International

DMAI Accreditation recognizes the Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau for providing outstanding service in accordance with international standards. This honor assures our stakeholders and customers that our business operations, marketing programs, and groups service programs are conducted with distinction and exceptional attention to detail.

In earning the DMAP Accreditation, we were required to demonstrate compliance in 54 mandatory and 33 voluntary standards in 16 core competencies including governance, finance, human resource, technology, marketing, visitor services, group services, sales, communications, partnerships, management and facilities, brand management, destination development, research/marketing, innovation and stakeholder relationships.

Although compiling the necessary documentation took several months, the groundwork for the DMAP Accreditation has continued throughout the Lisle CVB’s 25-year history as an economic development engine for the Village of Lisle.

Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) is the world’s largest and most reliable resource for official Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), also called convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs) or tourism boards.

DMAI is dedicated to improving the effectiveness of more than 4,100 professionals from nearly 600 destinations in approximately 15 countries.
