Lisle Bureau Retains International Accreditation
The Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCVB) has successfully achieved re-accreditation from the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) designation for 2013 -2017.
DMAP is an international accreditation program developed by the Washington, D.C. based Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI). LCVB first earned the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) designation in 2009. By holding the DMAP accreditation, destination marketing organizations (DMOs) communicate to their community, buyers and potential visitors that their DMO has attained the highest measure of excellence.
Currently there are only eight accredited marketing destinations in Illinois who have attained this measure of excellence, including the Lisle CVB.
“It was very important for the LCVB to retain the Destination Marketing Accreditation,” said Diane Homolka, Executive Director of the LCVB. “We strive hard to provide a high level of return to our village, stakeholders and visitors to Lisle, and this accreditation validates that we are and have been doing just that.” The LCVB works with meeting planners to bring meetings and events into Lisle.
