The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) Ross Bishop Memorial Post #5696 will present the Village of Lisle Memorial Day Parade and Community Picnic on Monday, May 27, 2019. The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Lisle Junior High School and proceed down Main Street to School Street ending at the Lisle Veterans Memorial.

There will be a short ceremony at the Memorial and then again at the Lisle Cemetery. A FREE community picnic will immediately follow on the grounds of The Museums at Lisle Station Park.

This special event will honor those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. This event is made possible by the support of VFW Ross Bishop Memorial Post #5696, Lisle Park District, Village of Lisle, Lisle Police Department, Lisle Community Unit School District 202, Lisle Woodridge Fire Protection District, Lisle Area Chamber and Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau.

There will be no access to Main Street during the parade or ceremony. There will be extra handicap parking available at the Bank of America on Center and the Lisle Village Hall.
