2017 USATF National Youth Outdoor Championships ILLINOIS CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

2017 USATF NATIONAL YOUTH OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPSUSATF Illinois is proud to announce the 2017 USATF National Youth Outdoor Championships competition will be held from June 26 –June 30 at Benedictine University Sports Complex in Lisle, IL.  The 2017 USATF National Youth Outdoor Championships is an invitational that welcomes track & field athletes ages 8-18 from all over. “This is the fourth time the competition will be held at BU Sports Complex in the last 10 years.” Said Diane Homolka, Executive Director of the Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau. Athletes, coaches and spectators can enjoy an experienced facility and meet management teams and see all that Lisle and the Chicagoland area have to offer.

2017 USATF NATIONAL YOUTH OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPSGet involved! You don’t have to be a youth athlete to participate in this amazing competition. You can volunteer, officiate or become a sponsor. No experience necessary to volunteer – just be 15 years or older! This is a great way to give back to your community. All volunteers will receive a free shirt and meal.

Volunteer for General Event Support and retrieve implements during warm-ups and competition, assist during weights and measures and setup and manage competition venue under direction of meet officials. Or you can volunteer to be Administration Assistants and help at registration, posting results and assisting with medals and awards.
