Just because fall is upon us doesn’t mean the fun has to end. In fact, Lisle has plenty of events and family functions going on through the fall months to keep us all entertained and to provide an Upcoming events in Lisle.enjoyable time. With Halloween not too far away, there is plenty of Halloween fun to be had as well.

The Lisle Park District has an abundance of upcoming events in the month of October. Of course, they are all Halloween themed yet offer a variety of diversity from one event to the next. The events range from a 5k run to a movie night.

Upcoming Events in Lisle in October

As expected, October offers endless fun and it is no different here in Lisle. The Lisle Park District begins the October fun with a Creature Double Feature on October 7th at the Lisle Community Park. This is a free event and both movies are Halloween classics: ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ begins at 7:00pm and is followed by ‘Casper’ which starts at 8:30pm. Both movies will be played on the big screen, all ages are welcome and don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs!

For all of you running and walking enthusiasts, October is sure to keep you content. On October 14th, Lisle Community Park will be holding its 13th Annual Scarecrow Scramble. The event begins at 3:00pm and ends at 9:00pm. You can register today and all proceeds from the Scarecrow Scramble will go to the benefit of the Lisle Partners for Parks Foundation Scholarship Found and the Lisle Teens with Character program. Take advantage of the early bird pricing by pre-registering. Pre-registration ends on October 11th at noon.

On October 21st, at the Lisle Recreation Center will be madness, Monster Madness to be more specific. This fun fair will be stocked with entertaining games, ghouls, animals, and other goodies. There will be prizes awarded and what would a Monster Madness be without a pumpkin patch. There will also be a petting zoo, pony rides, a hay maze, face painting, and a corn pit. Most important, don’t forget your Halloween costume!

The Morton Arboretum Fall Color Festival
