I want to thank the entire Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau staff for their efforts in helping to make our 2016 USS Elokomin AO-55 reunion an overwhelming success. Frankly, at first I was not enthused about locating our reunion in Lisle as it is a little drive from the airports and the two places we wanted to visit, Great Lakes Naval Base and the Museum of Science & Industry. After talking with the sales manager and visiting three of the Hotels the CVB set up for us to inspect, we decided to accept the added travel times in exchange for great facilities that were available in Lisle. Our members, unfamiliar with the area, were very pleased with the guide books and other information that you provided in the goodie bags and delivered to the hotel. I had never heard of Cantigny Park and the First Division Museum before we visited the area on our inspection trip. As it turned out, Cantigny was the highlight of the trip for many of our shipmates. When the reunion is in Chicago again, Lisle CVy will get the first call. I will not hesitate to do it all over again and I can’t think of anything I would want to change. Thanks again to all of you who helped me put together a memorable reunion for our group.

The Sheraton Lisle Hotel was the perfect backdrop for our Sisterhood Retreat. The staff was very personable and accommodating before, during and after our stay. The food, ambiance and hotel accommodations exceeded our expectations. Thanks for providing a five-star experience!

Last week we held our convention at the Hyatt Regency Lisle Hotel. Prior to the convention I received a call from Katie Palombit with information of how the LCVB could assist. This was a first as nothing or the sort had ever been offered in any other venue we have used in the past.

Katie offered to provide us with Lisle Visitor Guides and pens for our attendees. The registration packets had a already been assembled but Katie and Robin Friday offered their time to come and insert the Lisle Visitor Guides and pens in each packet prior to when the participant registration began. Katie and Robin were very professional, personable and courteous.

Katie and Robin both made a follow-up visit and brought a copy of the Daily Herald article that was written about the convention. This was very much appreciated. Please know that Katie and Robin are wonderful ambassadors for the Village of Lisle.

As we will be using the same venue for our 2017 convention, we look forward to continuing this beneficial and worthwhile relationship with you very hospital Village. I express my personal thanks to Katie and also Robin for their kind assistance and representation of the Village of Lisle.

I wanted to thank you and your staff for providing our IASN Conference attendees with a welcome letter and the Lisle Visitors Guide! Our attendees were excited to discover all of the local attractions that they could visit now and return to later in the year – thanks so much for your help!
Ms. Lowney, IASN
Our conference was a great success, and we appreciate the Bureau Services Coordinator’s assistance with the table cards and the visitor guides! We ended up having almost 500 participants. We always enjoy working with the Hilton staff – they have consistently treated our conference participants with respect and courtesy during each conference and in the pre-conference planning stages.

On behalf of Pastor Leon Perry, III we can’t thank you enough for providing the 150 “gift bags” for our “God’s Total Woman” Retreat. Because of your excellent staff, especially Ms. Katie Palombit who assisted me with the excellent customer service and professionalism, we were able to accomplish our goals. Katie assured me the bags would be delivered on Thursday afternoon, and when I arrived later that evening, the front desk supervisor mentioned the bags were ready for me.

Lisle Township Food Panty would like to thank the Lisle Convention & Visitors bureau for its recent donations of Hats, Scarves & Gloves collected during a recent drive. The early cold spell has made the need for these items even greater than it would ordinarily be. With the generous support of organizations like the Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau, we will be able to help scores of these families and individuals throughout the year.
Ms. Biggins, Lisle Township Food Pantry
We couldn’t do it without you! This is our 11th Annual Festival and our most successful with over 40,000 attendees joining us for 2 days of fun, great food and good times. Veggie Fest is one of the largest vegetarian food and lifestyle festivals in the world, and we have now found a permanent home in Lisle. Your support and contribution is most appreciated, and your help at every step along the way was an important factor in our success. With your help we filled up the hotels, provided community logistics, and the Village of Lisle was key to helping us get the word out to our Lisle community friends and family. Thanks, Mayor Broda, for spending the day with us and supporting our efforts. And a shout out to Katie and Robin for your guidance and good cheer!
Mr. Kruger and your Friends at Veggie Fest!
Right from the beginning of our search for a reunion venue which began over a year ago, your assistance and support helped us to make the right decision to hold our event in Lisle. Your presence during those meetings, and the follow up afterward helped us to know we would be very welcome in Lisle.

Feel free to offer my contact information to other reunion planners that are considering the Lisle area for their event. I would be happy to share my recommendations.

The Hilton Lisle has been host to our Annual Meeting over the past few years. The staff is amazing and the property is a great fit for our event. The Lisle Convention and Visitor’s Bureau has been a great resource for planning our event and the staff has been great. Jay Allen and Katie Palombit did a fantastic job at the registration table for our gala dinner, and were a big help to our small staff. In addition, our guests really enjoyed the Lisle Visitor’s Guides and Restaurant Discount Cards that were provided by LCVB. Lisle is truly a hidden gem. If you are planning an event in the area, do yourself a favor and reach out to them. They were a huge asset to our event.
