Husky Heroes at The Morton Arboretum

 

The huskies are back! See Siberian husky sled pulling and speed demonstrations. Meet these amazing canines and sign up to foster or adopt a husky without a home. Plus, watch a free film about the husky’s role in Alaskan history. Don’t forget your family photo opportunity beside the dogs and an authentic dog sled!

Event will take place with or without snow.

Snowshoe & Cross-Country Skiing at The Morton Arboretum

January 1st – 31st – February 28th

3.5 miles of groomed ski trails! Step into your snowshoes or cross-country skis. Clomp     through conifers and ski into serenity among towering trees. This winter put on your mittens and warm wool socks and cross-country ski or snowshoe across our 1,700 acre winter wonderland. Bring your own skis and snowshoes or rent ours!

*Only when there is four or more inches of snow on the ground.
